My amazing mother, Jo Ellen Luster was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in November of 2014. She fought every day from that day forward. She went through surgery, multiple chemotherapy treatments, scans, doctors appointments, radiation, and hospital stays and never complained. She never took life for granted, and she was always putting her family and friends first. She would make you feel like the most special person even if you barely knew her. She celebrated every chance she got and added a little bit of sparkle to everyone’s day despite the circumstances surrounding her. On August 27, 2017 her fight came to a heartbreaking end.  I think I speak for most people who knew her, it was a privilege to have her in my life. She was the strongest, goofiest, and most amazing mom, friend, daughter, sister, aunt, and person that you could ever know.  All that she asked was that we make it known the signs of ovarian cancer in the hopes that even one person wouldn’t have to go through what she fought so hard through. Women, trust your body. Bloating, abdominal pain, change in bowel habits, anything that you know is out of the normal get it checked and be an advocate for your own body and health.  Forever in our hearts and always on our mind, we love you momma lust. Sparkle on <3
